River City Ministry is a 501(c)(3) faith-based ministry that is solely dedicated to the poor, oppressed and outcast of our society. Our mission is to reach the hearts of people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

We currently have a 4,000 square foot facility at 1021 East Washington Street in North Little Rock where we provide:

• Food to the hungry
• Clothing to those in need
• Medical care to those who do not have access to medical insurance including dental, pharmacy and eye services
• Showers, fax and phone services
• Spiritual guidance

Stats for 2009

• Nearly 1500 different homeless individuals received aid from RCM
• Over 100 received a hot meal each Monday through Friday. Many received medical aid.
• Of the 1500 seen at RCM in 2009 over 100 have been removed from the streets into housing.
• Over 80 made a commitment to God and expressed their surrender in baptism in 2009

In addition to the continuation and growth of health and human services already in place, employment training and mentoring, youth development and technology training, and family coaching are in the works. We look forward to a Jobs Partnership Program which is supported by urban churches. We are blessed to have a LCSW on staff at RCM to provide needed Social Services to the needy.

River City Ministry is staffed by 8 individuals and is overseen by a 14 member Board of Directors, all of whom are Christians. We also have over 200 volunteers.  This is a place where churches, organizations, business, and individuals unite to make a difference in the heart of our cities.  We invite you to join our mission to meet needs, build capacity, and grow community.
