1/6/11 Remember Sharee, Lord? Raped. Violated. Hurt. Pained. Hopeless. Helpless. Suicidal.

On 11/10/10 she came to us only because someone gave her enough change to catch the bus. If she couldn't beg loose change for a bus ride to RCM, she was going to jump in front of a fast moving vehicle to die. (See 11/10 post)

With help from our great social workers and a new connection with You, Lord, Sharee is healing and saved.Here's part of a letter, Lord, I just had to share with You I received today...

Hello Bro. Anthony I have just decided to write you a few lines to tell you I really appreciate what you have done for me. I'm staying off drugs. I'm staying in touch with people that help me along the way. I will not forget you or no one else. When I get into a place and get a car I will visit River City and speak and tell people that it is a way of life because you have to put your mind into it and believe in God and Jesus Christ. I will never forget what I came from, that is the streets. If I can get off the streets so can they, all they have to have is faith. Bro. Anthony I really love you as a DAD because you always been there for me. Mr. Anthony I have just truly prayed in my heart to continued to have a good life, to love me for once and to care for others. Tell the ladies there that helped me, especially the lady who works at the desk when you first walk in River City. I love all of you. What can I give back to you? I will try my best to give it to you all. I miss the coffee in the morning with the donuts. I miss the prayers that you was giving me, playing dominoes, and having fun. It beats the streets ...
