Our Mission
River City Ministry is a faith-based, nonprofit dedicated to meeting basic human needs and connecting people to God through Christ-Centered relationship.
River City Ministry began in the 1980’s as a way to offer a meal and the message of Good News to homeless and hungry people in the Little Rock area. Volunteers offered more than their services, they offered ideas and opportunities to serve in new ways. Doctors, dentists, pharmacists, psychiatrists, social workers, caterers, cooks, and many other kind people all offered to work with us. God opened door after door to make this possible and to grow our facility to house these new clinics and departments.

We want to make sure people have community and support, so we offer relationship.
CHRIST
We want to make sure people have hope and assurance so we center those relationships in Christ and seek to follow His example.
COMMUNITY
We want to make sure people have a church where they feel a sense of belonging so we work to educate and assist churches in caring for struggling people.
