River City Ministry’s annual 5K Run/Walk is back!
We invite you to register whether you run, walk, or choose the “Spirit Runner” option. The race will bring together runners, walkers, families, and supporters to strengthen hope and expand our mission to serve neighbors experiencing homelessness, hunger, and crisis in Central Arkansas. We will hold the 5K on August 29th at Burns Park Soccer Complex in North Little Rock.
The course is located at 1 Soccer Avenue North Little Rock, AR 72218
Online Registration is now open! It will close Thursday evening, August 27th. In-person registration will be available at packet pickup and before the race.
Packet Pickup is available Friday, August 28th from 10am-6pm at Rock City Running, 11121 N Rodney Parham Rd, Ste. 37B, Little Rock or day of the race before 7:00AM at Burns Park Soccer Complex 5K Registration Table near the Finish Line.

The River City Run/Walk 5k all started with one woman’s idea. 20 years ago, a volunteer told us we needed a social worker on staff. She was right, we really did, but we had no funds to pay another staff member. This volunteer happened to be a social worker and offered to raise her own pay. So she started a 5k and raised her salary!
All these years later, our 5k is running strong and is one of our most successful fundraisers. It just goes to show what can be accomplished with a dream and a lot of hard work. All proceeds support our goal of feeding, housing, and providing medical, dental, vision, and spiritual care for the homeless, marginalized, uninsured, and underinsured people of Central Arkansas.
