OUR TEAM

  • Paul Wilkerson

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

It’s been my pleasure to serve this community, while serving the Lord here at RCM for 20 years. Married for over 45 years to Mary, and blessed by 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren. I attended Harding University, and now serve as a shepherd and staff member for the Levy Church of Christ in North Little Rock. Everyday is unique at RCM. Meeting new neighbors and serving area churches are just two of the many blessings I enjoy about this work.

It’s my privilege to serve as the programming director and Summer Intern coordinator for RCM. I came to RCM as the Urban Ministry apprentice the summer of 2013. Since completing my degree in Biblical Studies, I received a Bachelor’s in Sociology, a Masters of Public Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.

I also serve on the Advisory Committee for the Pulaski County Community Village, a tiny home village project forming to serve those experiencing homelessness in Pulaski County.

I am available for preaching, teaching bible class, offering training on working with impoverished and unhoused populations, and intern mentoring. Send me a message through the “Contact Us” form by clicking the tab above.

I have been serving at RCM 20 years. I started as a volunteer in the food pantry for three years then got hired on staff to work at the front desk. I manage the properties and assist the people in our transitional housing program and enjoy building connections with local agencies to get the food and supply donations we need.

I am the proud parent of five and enjoy spending time with my grandkids. When I’m not at RCM, I enjoy dog training and spending time with my dog, Hunter.

  • Jen Crafts, BSW

    BOOKKEEPER & GRANT MANAGER

When I came to RCM as a bachelor level social work student back in 2012, I had no clue what the Lord had in store for me in serving here.

Right after graduating from Harding University in 2012, and obtaining my LSW, I served as a case worker for the housing programs we administered. After wanting the opportunity to have a more flexible schedule in order to be present with my small children at the time, I started learning about grants and was able to transition and serve as RCM grant's manager. I served RCM in that role until my family moved out of state for my husband's military career in 2020.

After we moved back to Arkansas in 2021, it was clear that the Lord was opening doors for me to come back to RCM.

In January of 2022, I rejoined the team. I currently serve as our bookkeeper and grants manager. From a young age, I've had a desire to serve and connect with those in need and with people different from me. It is my passion to serve in the nonprofit sector and I'm grateful for the opportunity to use the gifts the Lord has given me to serve RCM.

  • Sandra Armstrong

  • Nyvelyn Shaw Rochelle, MA, CHW

    MEDICAL COORDINATOR &
    BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT

I have always lived by Mahatma Gandhi philosophy “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.  In April of 2022, I was BLESSED with the opportunity to do just that. In my current position as Health Educator (Community Health Worker) here at River City Ministry.

Through my years of education, I attained a Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master’s of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University.

Service is an important aspect of my life and I truly believe that if your passion is service, then you will never work a day in your life. This experience has richly blessed me with the opportunity to serve and I feel that this is a calling on my life. I am FOREVER grateful for River City Ministry.

  • Bernadette Reynolds

    CASE MANAGER & TAP COORDINATOR

When I came to RCM, I would sit in the ‘big room’ and study the Bible, and participate in the devotionals. From there I started volunteering in the food pantry and helping answer phones in the front office. I then started helping check messages in the Medical Clinic and setting appointments.

Today, I am a part-time employee, serving as the medical clinic coordinator. When I’m not connecting people at our clinic, I work with TAP to provide monthly bus passes for homeless people, and serve on the Board of the Arkansas Homeless Coalition.

  • Katlin Halbert, RDA

    DENTAL CLINIC ADMINISTRATOR

I stared off volunteering as a Registered Dental Assistant and ended up with the role of being able to look over the Dental clinic here at RCM, from then on my mission was simple, to restore smiles while reflecting the love of Christ. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve, and I pray that every visit to our clinic brings not only healing—but hope

  • Chuck Hall

    FOOD SERVICE & FACILITIES MANAGER

Even though it hasn’t been long since I started working with RCM, I’ve found a sense of purpose here. I want to give 100% of myself wherever I’m needed and this place gives me plenty of opportunities to serve.

I’ve spent my career in food service management, but here I’ve found it can be ministry if you do it with a spirit of love and service.
